Tip #6 - Make Sure You Post Regularly But Don’t Go Overboard
Keeping your blog updated lets the search engines know that you are serious about your blog. It tells them that you are looking after it and keeping it up to date. Visitors to your blog will come back more often if they know that it is going to be updated with lots of new, useful content. This is key for making a blog income.
Blogging should be done at the very least once every week. Better is at least every other day. Going overboard and posting all day every day will work against you. Search engines will think that you are spamming and creating a spammy looking blog and could punish you for it.
A good tip is to make time at the beginning of each week and stick to it. Working out your timetable for the week is good practice and keeps you on track. Read the rest of this entry »

Tip #1 - Create Original Content Or Cheat The Right Way!
Content rules the internet. Go against this and you will fail and fail big time. If you have been marketing for any period of time, you will know this already. Everyone is busy jumping in and shouting it from the rooftops. Some however are still not doing this and are simply doomed to failure.
Get it wrong and you will pay the price, you simply wont be taken seriously. Badly written content is another no no. If English is not your first language it is a good investment to have a proof reader go through your copy to make sure that it makes sense. From some of the blogs that I have seen, it’s just general good practice for everyone.
If you do have to cheat and purchase PLR material to fill your blog, you still need to pay attention to your content and re-write at least 60%. Any less and you are going to get found out. There is nothing wrong with using PLR, just make sure that you are not the lazy PLR user that still ends up failing. Read the rest of this entry »

If you are a effective blog owner, you have probably tried to
think of various ways that you could establish a more loyal
readership and gain a steadier following of fans throughout the
internet. The idea behind having a blog in the first place is to
have an established set of readers, whether you are looking at
making a profit from your blog or just passing the time with a
blogging hobby. Either way, one of the ways of going about doing
so is by creating video blogging excitement on your page!
What good do videos do on your page, you ask? It is very simple;
think about the state of things today as related to technology.
Video cellular phones, Youtube, Myspace videos and even
flip-down television sets in the back seats of people’s motor
vehicles–video is the new revolution. Why not have the same
types of instant video excitement on your blog? If anything can
help to create a base of loyal readers, video on your blogs
certainly can. Read the rest of this entry »

There are an increasing number of social bookmarking websites you can use to your advantage. Many people who use the Internet love to read blogs and save their favorites so they can get an update when a new blog has been posted. This is usually done by using chicklets – little widgets that you can add to your blog. These chicklets allow readers to click on the one of their choice and bookmark your blog to their favorite bookmarking website. This way, the readers can simply visit their social bookmarking website to see their favorite blogs’ updates, and enjoy reading the new posts without having to bookmark each blog individually and click on their favorites list to visit each one individually. By using a bookmarking website they can see all of the updates on all of their favorite blogs at one time – all by visiting one website page. Read the rest of this entry »

Blogging is a lucrative niche these days and for those who are looking to gain a nice residual blog income stream in their spare time, blogging is indeed a great way to do so. Of course, having a blog does no good to anybody, financially or otherwise if there is nobody there to read them. There are many ways of driving a reliable stream of traffic to your blog, causing the same subscribers to keep coming back for more. One of the best and most reliable ways of making your blog dynamic is to use RSS feeds.
What Are RSS Feeds?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication, and it is a way of allowing content from other sites, usually news or content from a news like website, to be shown on the blog along with other content that the blogger may want there readers to see. Although the most popular form of RSS feeds are news snippets and information of that nature, there are other things that can be shown through RSS feeds as well, like recent updates to your niche and other important information. Wordpress has proven itself time and time again as the most useful and most equipped blogging platform around. It’s vast array of resources and numerous plugins that make changing the appearance, content and appeal of a blog as simple as pointing and clicking have catapulted it into the realm of one of the most commonly downloaded open source applications on the internet.
Wordpress Being Open Source is Vital
Open source programming is nothing new, but it has always been something special. The concept is simple; programmers build a working model for a piece of software and then hand over all of that code to whomever wants it, allowing other users to make changes or adjustments and build add-ons. Hundreds of free internet distributed programs follow the open-source philosophy and are thus infinitely more viable than static programs that are constantly waiting for updates from a major corporation. For Wordpress, this means that new additions and updates are available almost constantly, repairing bugs much faster than Microsoft could ever manage.
Wordpress Themes and Customization
Something everyone wants to be able to do is change the look of their blog to suit their personality. With Wordpress, there are already hundreds of existing templates and themes developed by other users. However, for those with the technical knowhow, changing the theme or template is just as possible. With a built CSS editor and plugins that allow easy theme creation, Wordpress allows users to craft whatever look and feel they could want for their blog. Read the rest of this entry »

Today lets talk about building Blog Websites. What are the advantages of Blog Websites over traditional websites?
Blog Websites VS Traditional Html Websites
Traditional websites are static content unless you add php programming, java script or some other scripting language to them to create a more interactive type of site. They are also harder to ad new content to on a regular basis. Wordpress blog sites are by nature more interactive allowing your readers to make comments on your blog websites. They are also easier to update. The whole purpose of a blog is to ad posts which become new dated content. You just go into the admin area and post or set up several posts for different dates so your blog websites are even more hands off. Your weblog accomplishes both of these important SEO functions easier than a traditional html website. Read the rest of this entry »
