Tip #6 - Make Sure You Post Regularly But Don’t Go Overboard
Keeping your blog updated lets the search engines know that you are serious about your blog. It tells them that you are looking after it and keeping it up to date. Visitors to your blog will come back more often if they know that it is going to be updated with lots of new, useful content. This is key for making a blog income.
Blogging should be done at the very least once every week. Better is at least every other day. Going overboard and posting all day every day will work against you. Search engines will think that you are spamming and creating a spammy looking blog and could punish you for it.
A good tip is to make time at the beginning of each week and stick to it. Working out your timetable for the week is good practice and keeps you on track. Read the rest of this entry »

Tip #1 - Create Original Content Or Cheat The Right Way!
Content rules the internet. Go against this and you will fail and fail big time. If you have been marketing for any period of time, you will know this already. Everyone is busy jumping in and shouting it from the rooftops. Some however are still not doing this and are simply doomed to failure.
Get it wrong and you will pay the price, you simply wont be taken seriously. Badly written content is another no no. If English is not your first language it is a good investment to have a proof reader go through your copy to make sure that it makes sense. From some of the blogs that I have seen, it’s just general good practice for everyone.
If you do have to cheat and purchase PLR material to fill your blog, you still need to pay attention to your content and re-write at least 60%. Any less and you are going to get found out. There are an increasing number of social bookmarking websites you can use to your advantage. Many people who use the Internet love to read blogs and save their favorites so they can get an update when a new blog has been posted. This is usually done by using chicklets – little widgets that you can add to your blog. These chicklets allow readers to click on the one of their choice and bookmark your blog to their favorite bookmarking website. This way, the readers can simply visit their social bookmarking website to see their favorite blogs’ updates, and enjoy reading the new posts without having to bookmark each blog individually and click on their favorites list to visit each one individually. Start with a broad term like bloggers, then drill down to a term such as wordpress blogger’s, then even further to people who want to build a Blog Income type of Site. Traditional websites are static content unless you add php programming, java script or some other scripting language to them to create a more interactive type of site. They are also harder to ad new content to on a regular basis. Wordpress blog sites are by nature more interactive allowing your readers to make comments on your blog websites. They are also easier to update. The whole purpose of a blog is to ad posts which become new dated content. You just go into the admin area and post or set up several posts for different dates so your blog websites are even more hands off.
